I have been busy looking at the massive amount of WEB tools available to users....amazing. Two WEB tools that have been used by our students are Wordle (http://www.wordle.net/) and a stick animator Pivot
(http://pivot-stickfigure-animator.en.softonic.com/). We have used these on LA assignments and had some great fun using these with word building etc. I must appolgize for messing up the Wiki today. I must say Wiki is more challenging that Bolgging or using Twitter...a bit for user freindly.

You're right...the list of tools I've been looking at is overwhelming but exciting in the sense that I'm getting lots of ideas on how to use them in classrooms and with colleagues.
Check out www.gliffy.com if you're interested in creating charts, diagrams, etc. I've used this with students to make comparisons (ie. Quebec vs. France using VennDiagrams).

I've also used Wordle in the past...very engaging and effective for students to express their ideas.
